ICL 3-month Follow up

Well, bad news...dr. Patel is gone.

But good news: both eyes are 20/20 and combined, I am seeing 20/15. Woohoo.

This is pretty much the best thing I've done for myself. After so many years (pretty much my whole life) of dreaming about perfect vision, I finally understand the freedom of living without glasses or contacts.

Herzig has released me from their care and since dr. Patel is no longer there, I'm not going to bother going back.

Also, don't really feel like I have any issues with dry eyes or any ill effects from the iridotomy.

The only bummer is knowing that I will eventually need reading glasses. But shouldn't be for at least 5, maybe even 10 years.

And since I'm at 20/15, even if my distance vision gets a little worse, I should still be able to get away without glasses.

Oh, and they submitted a form to the ministry to remove the corrective lenses tag on my driver's license.
